Theme of Educational Robotics: Sustainable Development - Green Island

This year's theme for the primary school terams of Educational Robotics categories of ENGINO, LEGO and MAKEBLOCK will be «Sustainiable Development - Green Island" .

Sustainable Development that meets present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. It balances three core pillars—economic growth, environmental care, and social inclusion—to ensure long-term, equitable prosperity and planetary health.. A Green Island is a place where clean energy, responsible water use, waste reduction, and smart technologies work together to create a balanced ecosystem that leads to financial prosperity and social justice.

Teams are encouraged to explore the use of robotics technology in combination with Artificial Intelligence in presenting a unique and innovative solution/construction. In this regard, you may recall the AI For Good Initiative which leverages Artificial Intelligence for the benefit of humanity as well as the 17 United Nations  Sustainable Development Goals (https://sdgs.un.org/goals).
