Introduction
Robotex Pancyprian Robotics Competition is an annual event organized by the Cyprus Computer Society with the support of public and private organizations, in accordance with the respective International competition.
Objectives
The objectives of the competition are the development of educational robotics, the introduction of robotic technology in the educational aspect, the advancement of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) fields and the promotion of innovative learning ways in Cyprus educational system.
Participants
The competition is addressed to students of all ages in public and private schools and universities and adults.
Participating teams take part with the support of coaches-trainers that represent private or public organizations, learning centres, private institutes, schools, afternoon clubs, universities, colleges, student clubs etc.
Objectives
Competitors are required to create a team of 2 to 5 persons which with the support of the coach will construct a robot in advance, that will take part at the various competition’s challenges.

The winners, other than technology gifts and scholarships win the right to participate at the Robotex International that takes place in Estonia every year.

Our Cypriot roboticists return with global awards from the Robotex International Competition that takes place annually n Tallinn, Estonia (end of November-early December)
Volunteers
Robotex Cyprus is organised by CCS officers in collaboration with the Scientific and Organizing Committee. More than 100 volunteers and judges are working throughout the year for the successful organization. If you are interested to join the network of volunteers you may contact the CCS.
