The largest Cypriot robotics delegation achieved great success at Robotex International 2024, hosted in Estonia. With 95 competitors from 31 teams, Cyprus secured top positions, showcasing its strength in the STEM field. The participation of public schools and the strong presence of girls highlighted the importance of equality and inclusion in technological sectors. Cypriot teams received support from the Research and Innovation Foundation, while international recognition further enhanced Cyprus’s prestige in the global robotics community.

Οn the weekend of June 29th and 30th 2024, the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) is organizing in paralell the 7th Robotex Pancyprian Robotics Competition and the 1st Pancyprian MRC - Minoan Robot Sports Competition - Global Olympiad.
