ΕλRobotex MRC Cyprus 2025 Official Announcement
The Organizing Committee of Robotex Cyprus announces The 8th Pancyprian Robotex Robotics Competition and the 2nd Pancyprian MRC (Minoan RobotSports Competition) will be held in parallel at the premises of the Sports Center of the University of Cyprus on the weekend of 28 & 29 June 2025.

Robotex Cyprus is open to teams of primary, seconary and professional/technical education pupils, university students and adults and their participation is set to the symbolic fee of 50 euros per team. The winning teams of the Robotex challenges will participate in the next Robotex International in Tallinn, Estonia in December 2025, from which in previous years the Cypriot delegation returned with a number of distinctions. Similarly, the winning teams of the MRC challenges will participate in the MRC international event in Crete.
The exciting Sumo and Line Following challenges of various levels, Folkrace, Color Picking, Maze and Firefighting challenges are enriched this year as well with athletic-type challenges of Rally, Drones, Shot-Put and Archery; we also emphasize the exciting 3Kg Lego Sumo challenge.
The established educational robotics exhibitions for the Engino and Lego platforms aimed at primary school children are complemeted with the new platform of Makeblock and the Open Category of Educational Robotics addressing the interests gymnasium, lyceum and university students.
Two new challenges are introduced in the 2025 edition of the event! Bowling and Maze Line Following.
The event is open and free to the public and friends of educational robotics.We invite you all, young and old, men and women to spend together an exciting weekend full of action, joy and smiles and to applaud all the young people who will take part!
